I Have Changed The Narrative In Sagamu State Constituency - Bello
The Honourable member representing Sagamu State Constituency at the Ogun state House of Assembly has revealed his passion towards qualitative representation on the floor of the House.
Speaking during an interview with journalists at his Oke Mosan Assembly Complex, the diplomatic lawmaker was of the opinion that he had changed the face of legislative representation in his constituency through qualitative representation that has set the pace for others to follow.
Hon. (Alhaji) Damilare Bello stated that he has sponsored several bills on the floor of the house which has enhanced rural development and also co-sponsored some other bills.
He spoke on some of his constituency projects which included borehole installation, youth development, construction of public toilet, rural electrification, provision of solar street light, grading of rural roads, and renovation of public schools among others.
He reiterated his determination to contest for a second term in office, stressing that he has been able to change the narratives in the last two years productively which needed to be consolidated upon during the 2027 general elections.
The discipline lawmaker stated that it is only Nigerians that could fastrack national development, maintaining that there was the need for professionals to join active politics so that Nigeria will restore its lost glory.
He also spoke on the 90th birthday anniversary of Baba Adebukola Adebutu, stating that his footprints were boldly written in Nigeria and beyond through his self-help projects that has enhanced human existence and further complement government effort in nation building.
He was of the opinion that there was the need for well to do personalities in the country to emulate some the legacies that would go a long way in creating a rewarding and brighter future.
He stressed the need for the people of Sagamu State constituency to give him a second mandate, stating that his score card in the last two years has intensified his determination to upscale the living condition of his people.
He added that he would officially flag off his second term bid where the aged would be empowered, additional scholarship would be giving to students in public schools, installation of additional solar light among other stomach infrastructures.
